Paper roses in all colors imaginable

I am a sucker for DIY (do-it-yourself) items, thus I had to give these paper roses a try! It took me about 15 min to make one. And I loved the end result:

And you can make one too! The Elli Blog offers free templates in different colors plus instructions on how to collect the rose. It doesn't get any easier than that! Find the templates and instructions here: http://www.elli.com/blog/freebie-friday-diy-paper-rose-templates/

How to fix your broken lipstick in four easy steps

NHere's a guide on how to fix your broken lipstick in 4 easy steps! I was so pleased with the result, and if you like myself have lipsticks you just can't bring yourself to throw away, look no further! Here are four easy steps to get your favorite lipsticks fixed like new! Here goes:

 1. Take off the broken part with a napkin or rubber gloves.

2. Melt the surface of the remaining part in the tube and the broken part with either a lighter or matches - but do not burn it! Just keep the flame close to the stick.

3. Attach the missing part with the glove or napkin. Seal the seam with the flame. If needed, use a toothpick to even it out.

4. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours or until set/solid.

I fixed this lipstick with the above guide and it's like having a new one!
